Located in the region of Campania ('blessed country'), the Amalfi Coast is considered one of Europe's most beautiful coastlines. The town of Amalfi is thirty-eight miles SE of Naples and one hundred and sixty-nine miles SE of Rome. Don't make the mistake of trying to figure out how long it will take to get somewhere by how far it is though; traveling in Italy, especially on the Amalfi Coast, takes much longer! Find out more:
